Swain Association contributions to the school

Last year, the Swain Association contributed more than $18,500 to the school.

Various fund raising activities included the Used Uniform Sale, Kidstuff Books, Holiday House Tour and Boutique, and Box Tops for Education.

Events funded by the Swain Association included all-school picnics, the Harvest Feast, the Student Art Show Reception, Grandparents & Special Friends Day, Earth Day celebration, and the Employee Appreciation Lunch.

Swain Association contributions were used to:

• buy library books and Kindles
• fund professional development for teachers
• buy new folding tables for special events
• purchase a 'green screen' for the technology department
• install blinds in the Flex Space/band room
• provide a 'cri-cut' machine to make designs for bulletin boards
• support the school's Endowment Fund
