Annual Fund

New computers, classroom SMART Boards (interactive white boards), Global Awareness Program, new marketing materials, Artists-in-Residence and Poet-in-Residence programs, scholarships, athletics and library materials are specific examples of how Annual Fund resources were used last year.  During the 2010-11 fiscal year, donors contributed more than $500,000 to The Swain School. Swain is grateful for the generous support from parents, trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, grandparents, friends, businesses, foundations and corporations

The Swain Annual Fund helps to bridge the gap between the 83% that tuition pays, and the actual cost of operating the school.  Annual Fund contributions are crucial for sustaining and improving the excellent academic program here.  This year’s Annual Fund goal is $385,000 for contributions, from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.

Swain is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 educational institution. Philanthropic contributions may be considered tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
