Library Skills

The Swain School library program is designed to foster a lifelong love of reading and teach critical 21st century information literacy skills.  Students are taught and encouraged to read a wide variety of genres, to use the library as a place to gain knowledge to help solve problems, and to develop information management skills.  We collaborate with teachers so library lessons can reinforce skills and topics that are being covered in the classrooms.
