Physical Education
The many activities which make up The Swain School physical education program are designed to be exciting, stimulating, and fun, and are presented in a safe, nonthreatening and noncompetitive environment.
The ultimate goals of the curriculum are the improvement of each child's performance, the maintenance of good health and fitness through exercise, and the development of a lifelong, positive attitude towards participation in physical activities. The structured, sequential curriculum and method of instruction are designed to teach the children how to use and develop their bodies and to interact positively with others in physical activities.
