Wellness Curriculum
As part of its for students - which includes collaboration among the school's nurse, school counselor, physical education teacher and Wellness Coordinator - specific classes are taught on wellness topics.

Grade 4
- The relationship between food and our mental, physical and emotional wellness
- Diet recommendations in our society
- Why diet recommendations from different people/groups/institutions vary
- How to figure out what recommendations are right for you

- Social and emotional changes that accompany the preteen years
- Achieving a sense of identity and self-confidence
- Respecting and connecting with peers
- Dealing with challenging relationships
