Tuition for Preschool, Prekindergarten and K-8th grade
Tuition Payment Plans
Need-Based Tuition Assistance (K-8)
Tuition Payment Plans: Available for ALL Students
Option A: Payment in full by July 1
Option B: Semi-annual payment of 60% of tuition and fees by July 1; second and final payment is due in January.
Option C: Ten monthly installments, starting on July 1. A finance charge is computed on the unpaid balance as of August and January, at a periodic rate of 1.5% per month (annual percentage rate of 18%)
Some additional fees are applied such as the activity fee and tuition refund insurance.

6 Steps to Applying

  1. Attend Open House or take a personal tour
  2. Apply Online. Once you apply online you may check on the status of the application by signing into your secure and confidential online account
  3. Pay online application fee
  4. Student visit in the classroom
  5. Appointment for age-appropriate testing

    Testing for PS, PK and K
    Administered by Swain’s School Counselor, these tests are designed to determine your child’s appropriateness for the Swain program.  The children are assessed on their readiness to enter school.  Motor, social and verbal skills are evaluated.

    Testing 1st-8th Grade:
    Students will be evaluated through assessments in Math, Reading and Writing, in addition to social and emotional development.
  6. Submit necessary documentation which is specified by grade and may include: Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, Teacher Recommendation forms, School Transcripts.

Age Requirements

  • Applicants for Preschool must be 3 by November 1 and fully potty trained 
  • Applicants for Prekindergarten must be 4 by November 1
  • Applicants for Kindergarten must be 5 by November 1
