2008 dates:
Session I: July 7-18
Session II: July 21- Aug. 1

Summers at Swain offers opportunities for learning and fun throughout the summer,
in 40 courses for children entering preschool through grade 5. Children need not attend Swain during the regular school year to participate. All activities will take place on our beautiful, 20-acre Allentown campus.

Children may attend mornings only, afternoons only, or both. Students who are staying for the full day may bring lunches and eat them in a supervised setting.

In general, morning sessions will focus on reinforcing academic skills in a relaxed summer setting. Afternoons will be "hands on" fun with a variety of sports, games, crafts and other activities to choose from. In keeping with Swain's emphasis on small class sizes, all courses will be kept to a maximum of 12 children.

Morning Sessions: 9 a.m. noon
Supervised Lunch (you provide): noon 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Sessions: 12:30 3:30 p.m.

For children who need care beyond the Summers as Swain session hours, our Summer Care Program offers extended care from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for an additional cost and may be combined with any of our summer courses. Swain is a fully accredited child care facility.

Early enrollment is recommended, and scholarship assistance is available for qualified children. Discounts are available for multiple children.
