Swain students excel at state PJAS competition
Fourteen seventh- and eighth grade science students of Mrs. Deb Lindsay competed at the state PJAS (Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science) competition on May 16-17.
The students captured 11 first place awards and three second place honors. Each had received a first place rating at the regional PJAS competition in February.
The students created a scientific hypothesis, then tested it; they analyzed the results, which were presented to judges at the competition held at Penn State.
