Whether creating in the Imaginate Center, performing on stage, or researching a topic of interest, Swain is a place where students are encouraged to be curious, articulate, innovative problem solvers.
Beginning in Preschool, children are given opportunities to actively engage in hands-on experiences and collaborate with others to think critically. Through meaningful relationships with teachers, field trips, enriching curriculum, and community gatherings, we cultivate leaders who graduate from Swain with the agency and character to make a difference in the world. This comprehensive interdisciplinary core curriculum is marked by depth rather than breadth as it encourages mastery and authenticity as paths to passion and discovery.
Grounded in child development research, our curriculum and pedagogy are based on best practices. Swain faculty members regularly attend national conferences and workshops in order to stay current and develop engaging, innovative learning spaces and curriculum. Swain provides a challenging, yet nurturing program that leads to joyful learning and celebrates the individual spirit within each child.
We encourage you to visit our campus and step into our classrooms to see first-hand what makes Swain a great place to learn.
