The 2019-2020 school year marks Erica Coverley’s 10th year teaching at the Swain School. Her oldest son, Trevor, graduated from Swain in 2018 after starting his education at Swain in the 1st grade and her youngest son, Hunter, will graduate this year in 2020, where he started in PreKindergarten. Erica has taught in both the public school and independent school environments. She has taught many grades throughout her 25 years of teaching and has taken on many roles at Swain, including 5th grade teacher, Global Studies Coordinator, and Curriculum Coordinator. Currently, Erica is Swain’s Learning Specialist for our Intermediate and Middle School and Coordinator of Student Support. She will also be teaching 6th grade Humanities.
